Thanks for stopping by! I'm AshPash, member of the web team here at Clear Channel Charleston. I am one of the team members here that works on our websites, social media and getting you all the latest in entertainment and music.
I was born in Augusta, GA, but raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Apologies in advance for being a yankee! Everyone in the Carolinas has been very hospitable, as anticipated in the South.
I'll be posting here regularly with stuff that interests me: pop culture, technology, new music, funny observations and more. Bookmark this page and check back soon!

I am Irish and proud of it. I come from a town (Cleveland, Ohio) where there is a huge constituency of Irishmen. I went to the University of Dayton, a Catholic university, consisting mostly of...you guessed it, Irish-Catholics. I met my husband (who is also Irish, of course) on St. Patrick's Day and got married on St. Patrick's Day 4 years later. To say the least, I look forward to March 17th each and every year. We're always looking for a new pub to try in a new city, a new parade to witness or a new party to crash. Some photographic evidence (including from my favorite, St. Pat's...my wedding day in 2011):

Now if you're down to party, but don't see me out and about on the streets of Charleston, Sullivan's or Mt. Pleasant this year (can you hang??), I found the list of THE BIGGEST PARTIES for St. Patrick's Day in America. South Carolina represented with one mention at #5....Five Points in Columbia. But number one? You might be surprised - though I'm not.....University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio....my alma mater. They have tried to have spring break over St. Pat's, tried sending out letters pleading with parents to talk to their kids about binge drinking, etc. All to no avail. The campus grows exponentially each March with the most generous, fun, loud and raucous party celebrating St. Pat's in the country.
And most importantly....be safe out there, you guys. A smart, drunk Irishman is one with a designated driver.
