Thanks for stopping by! I'm AshPash, member of the web team here at Clear Channel Charleston. I am one of the team members here that works on our websites, social media and getting you all the latest in entertainment and music.
I was born in Augusta, GA, but raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Apologies in advance for being a yankee! Everyone in the Carolinas has been very hospitable, as anticipated in the South.
I'll be posting here regularly with stuff that interests me: pop culture, technology, new music, funny observations and more. Bookmark this page and check back soon!

So the whole last week, I was in Great Exuma, Bahamas for work believe it or not (enter the contest here to go there yourself) and I got to experience some pretty incredible things! First, there was very little connectivity other than at our broadcasting site, so it was GREAT to unplug for a few days and recharge my OWN batteries instead of a computer or smart phone.
We went on tons of tours of different facilities and features of the resort with our new radio friends from all over the country (this was on the Emerald Reef Golf Course, as designed by Greg Norman!)
We event got to see the good that is done on the island by the charitable organizations by going and reading to kids at Roker's Point Primary School!
...and we got to experience one of the coolest things I've EVER seen in my life. Near Staniel Cay, Exuma, we got to anchor our boat and THIS HAPPENED. I SWAM WITH PIGS!
They come down from the mountain when the boat pulls up because these tours go out a few times a week and take fruit and other snacks to them! They were about the size of 60-70 pound dogs and very sweet....very domesticated!
Needless to say, I had a pretty incredible time. Check out the full photo gallery of the trip here. And say a little prayer for me...that I can keep THIS feeling LONG after landing back here in Charleston:
