Jon Bon Jovi took a swipe at pop star Justin Bieber, citing his unprofessional attitude, and calling him a (blank)-hole." Bon Jovi spoke about the 19-year-old Bieber's penchant for showing up late to his concerts -- including a London show in March, which saw Bieber stroll in two hours late. Bon Jovi told The London Evening Standard, "Every generation has guys that do that. None of that is new. They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives -- or in that kid's case, 80 minutes of their lives."
He gave some word of advice for the latest pop sensation, who later blamed his tardiness on technical difficulties: "Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won't have you back. Then it just becomes a cliche. It's really not cool -- you're an ***hole. Go to ****ing work!"
For MY 2-cents: Jon is spot on. Bieber's a punk, trying to have the swagger of a hardcore street thug -- seemingly COMPLETELY UNAWARE that his fan-base is comprised of Tiger Beat middle class suburban tweens. My blind grandmother with the lousy knee could waste this chump.
He should take a lesson from all the other teen idols of the past and work hard to keep a fan-base -- David Cassidy, New Kids On The Block, and New Edition do AMAZING business today because of treating their fans right. This guy's not gonna be so adorable when he's 38 and broke. He's gonna be Vanilla Ice -- with less money.
