The music industry has been attempting to make money off those with the talent since it all began.  How can we exploit?  Get our cut?  How do we make sure they get enough to keep them quiet but make sure we get our share for their hard work and creativity?  For years now we've been beaten over the head with the fact that downloading music is wrong, that its stealing from the artist when in actuality it was stealing not only from them, but from all the investers that planted their imaginary flag on them to get as much out of them as they can before they burn out or fade away...but this chick has the idea that can turn it all around.  DOWNLOAD AWAY!!!  Her music is free to download, to share to enjoy to your heart's content.  All she asks is that if you are moved to pay her for the enjoyment, would you consider?  Wouldn't you sleep better knowing that you personally placed in her hand $10 for a cd that you copied from a friend?  You could make sure she makes every cent she deserves, and possibly more than she ever would have made tied to a record company that didn't believe in her. 

I'd gladly send her a ten just for watching this video, if I knew where to send it.

I wholeheartedly would have to say that I would rather leave behind a tree.  Better yet, put the seeds in my belly, wrap me in linen and bury me if it means it would make it grow tall and lush.  Let the roots wrap around where my heart once dwelled, feast on the flesh that once took so selfishly from a world that equally drained my soul.  Let me vanish into a forrest of like trees, a gathering of people offering their bodies for the good of the earth where one day children will walk and hear the whispers of those who went before as the wind blows through branches as if to say...learn from our mistakes, and forgive us for what we tried to make amends for in our death.

"An NOPD spokesman says the intended victim used the weapon to strike and knock out the rear windshied of the attacker's vehicle.  Police say the two suspects fled on Frenchmen to St. Claude and then to parts unknown.

The gunman is described as an African American male, approximately 16-20 years of age, 6' tall with a thin build, wearing a black hat and a black t-shirt. Police say the vehicle is possibly a Honda Accord.

Anyone with information about this attempted robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111."

Check out how keeping calm and paying attention saved this guy's life.  For the record, walking around by yourself at five in the morning may not be the smartest thing to do, but apparently if you got moves like this guy you'll be just fine.  -morgen

I don't know why I find this weird...  It's more than the plush 'man under the sea' look.  Maybe its being blinded by comfort and unable to see what might be coming.  As much as I need to relax, I'm not sure I could in such a garment.  Could you?  -Morgen
