The Rolling Stones have issued the second of two new singles from their forthcoming greatest hits package, ‘GRRR!’
‘One More Shot’ is a Jagger/Richards composition that was recorded in Paris with longtime Stones producer Don Was, who has worked with the band on five previous albums. It follows the release of ‘Doom and Gloom,’ the other new song featured on ‘GRRR!’
Due November 13 in North America, ‘GRRR’ will be available in five different formats, including a three-CD 50-track version and a four-CD super-deluxe version that includes 80 songs.
The Stones are currently in Paris rehearsing for a series of four fall concert dates in London and New York.
The December 15 Newark, NJ concert will be telecast live via pay-per-view at 9pm EST. Entitled ‘One More Shot,’ the pay-per-view will be distributed by WWE.
Meanwhile, word has it The Stones soon will be announcing plans to play a concert at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, as part of their 50 & Counting Tour. Showbiz411.com reports that the show will take place on December 8.
